Put a kid on the field.
The Guardians Scholarship Fund covered 47 athletes last season — every child whose family asked for help. This year, our goal is 96. No applications, no income verification, no embarrassing paperwork. A parent emails us, we mark their kid down, and that child shows up to practice like everybody else. That's the model. Your gift is what makes it possible.
No kid sits out because their family can't pay.
When we say "every child plays," we mean it — and we put money behind it. The Guardians Scholarship Fund is a confidential, parent-driven, no-questions-asked program. If a family in our community can't afford registration, they email us. That's the entire process. No income forms, no W-2s, no committee meeting where their child's family situation gets discussed.
Last season, 47 kids played because someone like you funded it. Some of those kids had never been on a team in their life. Some came back two seasons in a row, and we're watching them figure out who they are — on the field and off — in real time.
This is the most direct, highest-leverage giving opportunity our nonprofit offers. There is zero overhead taken from scholarship gifts. A $135 donation literally covers a season of baseball for a child who would otherwise stay home.
Direct, line-item impact.
Every dollar goes to the field. Pick the impact that fits your generosity.

What scholarships actually do.
I lost my job in March. I told the Guardians my son couldn't play that spring. They had him on a roster the next morning. He doesn't know we couldn't pay. He just knows he had a season.
My daughter played softball for free for two seasons. The next year I sent the Guardians a $200 check. I'm still not made of money but I want another kid to get what mine got.
I was the kid who couldn't play growing up. I write the Guardians a check every December because I know exactly what that scholarship feels like to a kid who got told no for years.
